Sensor Switch Modules can be fixed behind most materials, giving you an almost infinite choice of designs and shapes for your light switches. Why have a boring square or oblong switch plate?
Let your imagination run wild!
The OFF/ON Sensor Switch directly replaces your standard light switch ~ just 2 connections taken from the existing switch and connected to the 2 connections on the Sensor Switch ~ it really is as simple as that!
Operating the Sensor Switch is easy ~ bring your hand or any other part of your body within about 30mm (about an inch!) from the faceplate to switch on, repeat the process to switch off.
The Dimmer Sensor Switch is very similar to the ON/OFF Sensor Switch and is installed in exactly the same way.
To operate, use a “ hard” approach which switches ON and OFF.
A more gentle (slower) approach will start the dimming. It may take a couple of goes to become used to the method but it is easily mastered!
The Sensor Switch is designed for replacing 1 way toggle or dimmer type light switches which operate Incandescent bulbs and Low-Voltage Halogen lights with wire-wound transformers. Sensor Switches are not compatible with “electronic transformers” or fluorescent lighting.
It is advisable to protect your Sensor Switch from large transient voltage spikes which may be produced when a bulb blows, this can be done by inserting a 2amp fuse in line on the output wire (between Sensor Switch and lamp).
